First Ever We Are Indie Horror Film Fest Coming To Las Vegas
We Are Indie Horror and PROco PROduction coMPANY team up to bring the first ever We Are Indie Horror Film Fest to AOF’s MEGAFest in August of 2018
Los Angeles, CA: After years of promoting indie horror and connecting artists around the world, We Are Indie Horror teams up with PROco PROduction coMPANY to bring the first ever We Are Indie Horror Film Fest to Las Vegas, Nevada in August of 2018. The film festival will run as part of the 10 Day Action On Film’s MEGAFest at the Brenden Theaters in Las Vegas, Nevada.
MEGAFest is ten festivals, competitions, screening events, multiple parties, seminars, mixers, international awards and more all taking place during the live Ten Day AOF Event. More opportunities, excitement, acceptance, nominations, awards and prizes being offered by an incredibly diverse group of judges, producers, committees and lovers of film from across the globe.
The We Are Indie Horror Film Fest will focus on indie horror features and shorts while help promoting the best of the indie horror community. With special guest judges, independent workshops, and the prestigious Green Hand Audience Choice Award, this is a can’t miss film festival for all up and coming horror artists. Other wards sick as best director, best actor, and best first time filmmaker will be given out during the MEGAFest awards ceremony. Opening for submissions will begin on January 1st, 2018. As a good deed to the Indie Horror community, the submission prices will start out incredibly low, allowing artists of all levels to submit and have an opportunity to be screened in Las Vegas.
We Are Indie Horror formed in January of 2015 as a hole in the horror community continued to grow. With a purpose to make the independent horror artists take the limelight, We Are Indie Horror grew through social media promotions and networking events. Now spanning fifteen plus countries and over 5,000 social media followers, We Are Indie Horror continues to expand and find ways to connect and promote indie horror artists. The We Are Indie Horror Film Fest is an idea that co-creators Neil King and Brian Sapir have been working on bringing to life for a couple years and with the help of Del Weston from Action on Film Festival, they have the opportunity to showcase indie horror in Sin City during a huge film festival event.
PROco PROduction coMPANY is comprised of the talented and award winning Brian Gerson and Joseph R. Davis. The production company, located in Monrovia California, offers creative solutions for video and photography needs as well as creating their own unique projects. Their first short film, Tenderhas won multiple awards across the nation from a number of film festivals. Their second and third attempts at short films, It’s Lurking and Puppet have also swiped up awards and nominations from all around the United States.
