Watch The Trailer For The Haunted House/Crime Thriller ‘Ghost of New Orleans’

From veteran screenplay writers Gerald and Justin Di Pego comes a film that’s one part crime thriller, one part supernatural mystery, and all parts exciting. We’re talking about Predrag Antonijevic’s Ghost of New Orleans.

The film stars Josh Lucas, Terrence Howard, Lake Bell, Sharon Leal and Cary Elwes.

A disgraced detective (Josh Lucas) has a supernatural encounter which leads him to investigate the murder of a beautiful cellist (Lake Bell) that unlocks the truth behind her mysterious death.

We haven’t seen Ghost of New Orleans yet, but it does look promising. Partially based on the cast and crew involved with the film but also the trailer sheds some light on this intriguing tale. The Di Pego’s seem to really have found a calm center between two hectic stories, and from the trailer alone it is clearly going to be a fantastic story.

The interesting thing behind this film is that it was originally shot back in 2011. What kept it from seeing the light of day in the past six years? Well, we have no idea, but last year’s Abattoir from director Darren Lynn Bousman also took that long to get released, and it turned out to be one of the top films of the year according to our top ten of 2016 list.

Whatever it was holding back Ghost of New Orleans from release, it is now gone. The film will have a release on February 17th in select theaters, VOD, and Digital On Demand.
